Employee merch for Productboard
In early 2022, I took on one of the most interesting and rewarding projects of my career. Productboard, known at that time for its phenomenal company swag under David Petricek’s direction (founder at Merch Collective), needed a new “Spring / Summer 2022” collection designed.
We started with creating an abstract pattern incorporating Productboard’s logo and their tagline (Make products that matter, together) which was then printed on a t-shirt. I also created a couple more designs:
with each of those featuring Productboard creatives reflecting their respective age level. Babies wore a crayon-drawn slogan with a childlike version of the company logo, teenagers wore a pencil-drawn logo and adults rocked a sophisticated pattern of Productboard’s logo made from ... the Productboard logo.
Employees and their kids wore these clothes around the world with pride. They shared photos in group chats and praised the quality of fabric (and of course, the design hopefully). We also printed out a poster with the aforementioned abstract pattern that Productboard hanged in their office. See the photos below to understand why thinking about this project always puts a smile on my face ↓
