Visual identity for XGLU

XGLU is a Czech medical device development company with a focus on novel solutions for Type II diabetes patients. When working at Global Vision in 2017 I had the opportunity to design a logo for them – we decided to combine an “X” symbol representing both an injection point on the skin (left by a blood sugar monitoring device) and the first letter of their name – XGLU. This symbol combines with a water drop shape (representing a drop of blood) to create a compact, easy to remember symbol with good legibility across all sizes. See the final logo below ↓
